Boone & Son’s Jewelers has teamed with Mutts Matter Rescue (MMR) to host the first ever “Diamond in the Ruff” charity event to help support their mission of finding loving homes for healthy and adoptable dogs within the DC-Metro area.

Mutts Matter Rescue, a volunteer driven nonprofit organization with over 15 years of combined rescue experience, works in conjunction with local shelters and other organizations to save animals on death row. These volunteers are driven to fulfill the MMR mision by “love, compassion and hope”. Come join us in support of Mutts Matter Rescue!

Each gemstone is hand carved from the highest quality jewelry grade gemstones and is carefully formed to the recognized countries of the world. The geographical integrity of each country is upheld in almost all instances by using indigenous gemstones to represent a given country’s boundaries.

World Record Ring

The Guinness world record for the most cut diamonds set into one ring is 2,525, in the ring “Tsarevna Swan”. It was created by the Lobortas Classic Jewelry House (Ukraine) and was presented and measured in Kiev, Ukraine. The ring’s price is set at $1.3 million based upon the cost of materials and labor, artistic value and ring estimates from independent jewelers. Wow!

Rudolf Friedmann was an expert jeweler trained in the craft by his father in Europe. His singular concern was the quality of craftsmanship and design. Brands were for mass-produced items like toothpaste not jewelry. They are still old-fashioned in that way. They still make many one of a kind pieces. They still run our own jewelry workshop.
